I don’t know if you have ever had one of those weeks where it seems like everything that could possibly go wrong does, but they are not fun times. This week there has been so much going on in life that everywhere I look there is chaos. My wife is sick, the house a mess, weekend services coming up that I am trying to prepare for, Dream Team members out of town for the weekend, and part of the Coastal staff is not feeling well.
Life gets a little out of control at times and it is in those moments of chaos that we have to focus on God and not the situation. It is so easy to get caught up in the moment of what is taking place right now, what’s wrong with it and how do I fix the situation. God wants us in those moments to take a deep breathe, turn our attention to Him and recognize that in the middle of all this junk that is happening and taking place, He is in total control. We need to let go and let God run in these times of life. That is truly where we will find peace in the midst of the storms of life.
